Blog Etiquette
I am VERY new @ this and have no idea the rules of etiquette that apply. I am on here and looking at my friends and then see that I know one of their friends so I just add them on to my friends...Am I supposed to ask first if I can add you as my friend? Some of blogs said I needed to be "invited" but others just let me add them. Is that creepy? I've heard the term "blog-stalker". Is that what I'm being? I don't want to be a weird-o. Please give me your input. TJ is the only one that actually knows I have a blog so...I guess I am asking her...you. This blog stuff might not be my cup of tea. I feel like I am violating people. At least with facebook you are aware that I am wanting to be friends and you can accept or deny me. Please, anyone out there in blog land, fill me in on the do's and don'ts. It is 1:30 in the freaking morning! I don't need this addiction!!! Goodnight!

you have to be invited to my blog because it is private. i sent you the invite so check your email. i think its ok to add friends to your list but just leave them a comment saying hi so they know you have a blog too. then its not stalking.
I agree with Maren, just comment to them and say hi at some point and then you can add them to your blog. Blog-Stalking is a totally normal thing. If a blogger claims they aren't doing it, they are lying. Can I add your blog to my list? I know you don't really like me that much, so let me know if that is a problem.

Something I'm kinda weird about with Cicily's blog, because lots of people around the world look at it, I try to keep our last name off of it. So I'd love to have her blog on your list, but would you mind taking our last name off? You could put Janalyn & Cicily or just Janalyn or just Cicily- whatever you want! By the way, I don't think that's a blog etiquette thing for everyone, just weird thing for me! :)

So glad you started a blog! Dave will be happy to know your doing well. He's always thought highly of you as a friend.
When I first got our blog, I totally blog-stalked. Come to find out EVERYONE does it. I will say this: It began taking too much of my time, so you need to get the feature for your list of contacts that tells you when your friends have added a new post. It has been a time saver. Does that sound bad? HAHA. But you start getting to the point that you just don't care who reads yours and realize that it is just good that you are journaling.
You are officially on my list whether you like it or not! I miss our run-ins at the Mall! :)
Welcome to the blogging world where you'll waist SO much time and have SO much fun all while journaling and scrapbooking. I'm glad you finally have a blog!!!! And I'm glad TJ is a blog stalker or I would never have known. Just kidding TJ, I really don't mind!
